Lermoos is located between the Ammergau and the Letchal Alps, at the entrance of the valley, and the Lärchenhof is the perfect base for hiking in both mountain ranges. From family hikes, to panoramic routes across Alpine pastures, or challenging summit experiences – there is something for every taste, age and ability level! At an altitude of 2,962m, the impressive Zugspitze offers the greatest challenge.

A well-developed network of cable cars and chair lifts make the journey to the summit quicker and easier, bringing you to one of the region’s eight stunning mountain lakes or other wonderful locations.

Climbing enthusiasts are also well catered for… Alpine climbers and mountaineers will find numerous rock faces, climbing parks and other ascents in all difficulty levels. The Ehrwald climbing hall also guarantees sporting enjoyment, particularly when the conditions outside don’t want to play ball!
